Wild Oceans Joins Virtual Conversation on the Future of the Oceans
Wild Oceans president Ken Hinman will participate in a virtual panel dialogue on June 13th, along with three ocean colleagues, to address the critical subject: Healthy Oceans = Sustainable Planet. The panel will dig deep into the profound challenges the oceans now face, and the public is invited to join the conversation via phone or web, live at 7 pm EST.
Spring of Sustainability, the host of the on-line panel, has been bringing together over 60 sustainability leaders in virtual interviews and panels throughout the spring of 2013 to raise awareness and empower large scale shifts in sustainability. The web broadcasts inform, and hopefully inspire to action, an audience from 92 countries.
Healthy Oceans=Sustainable Planet will be the final event of the Spring of Sustainability series. In addition toKen Hinman of Wild Oceans, panelists include Mark Spaulding of the Ocean Foundation, Michael Stockerof Ocean Conservation Research, and Julia Roberson of the Ocean Conservancy.
